Description
Delphinium 'Pacific Giant Galahad' is a tall and early flowering variety of this popular cottage garden perennial.
The pure white double flowers with a dark centre bee on stems reaching 1.8m are perfect at the back of the border.
| When to sow | Sow indoors September to April. |
| Where to sow | To improve chances of germination place seeds in a polythene bag and pop in the fridge at 4°C for 3 weeks prior to sowing. |

Sow indoors thinly on the surface of compost filled pots or trays and cover the seeds with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a warm position (15 to 18°C) and keep out of direct sunlight to exclude light until germination has occurred. Germination usually takes place within 14-21 days but can take longer. |

| What to do Next | When seedlings are large enough to handle and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise seedlings to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Then transplant into final growing position planting them 40cm (16in) apart. |

| To encourage further blooms deadhead by cutting spent flower spikes back to small flowering side shoots. | |
