11. Are any seeds organic (or) genetically modified?

Organic - No. Although some of our seeds are organic, we are not a certified organic seller and do not claim to be.

GMO - No. Although many of seeds are produced using the latest breeding techniques, none are genetically modified, or have been derived from genetically modified parent material. The methods used in the development and maintenance of these varieties are designed to minimise the presence of off-types, including genetically modified organisms. Due to the free movement of pollen it is not possible for open pollinated crops to be guaranteed to be free from the presence of adventitious GM material. However, the suppliers we buy from work closely with breeders, suppliers and the relevant Government bodies to ensure that any such risks are minimised.

12. How are the products packed?

Seeds are supplied in glassine packets and sealed with tamper proof labels. If you find any label has been opened (or perforated) prior to it arriving with you, please let us know. The product label details the product, approximate quantity of seeds and sowing and care instructions. Gift boxes contain seed packets as described above.

We are able to supply seeds to the whole of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland currently due to Brexit) covered by Royal Mail postal services, this site is configured to calculate shipping charges on orders for delivery within the UK only. We no longer accept orders from the EU.

Futher statement on selling to Northern Ireland:

Apologies, but we are still unable to supply any orders to Northern Ireland (or the EU) since Brexit and subsequent rules around phytosanitary certification requirements for any seeds being sent to NI.

Whilst some rules have changed recently to allow some products to be sold to NI from UK, this involves strict new product labelling rules which as a small business, are burdensome and costly for us to change quickly.

We apologise to all of our customers in Northern Ireland, but we are currently unable to sell seeds at this time but hope this situation may be resolved in the future.
