Description
Impatiens 'Lollipop Mixed F1' will provide a riot of colour for hanging baskets, containers, beds and borders. The vibrant colours of red, pink, violet, white and orange will brighten up any garden.
Impatiens are very easy to grow, flower reliably all summer long, are very weather tolerant and thrive in shade as well as full sun.
When to sow | Indoors February to May |
Where to sow | Sow on the surface of moist compost filled pots or trays and cover the seeds with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a warm position (temperature of 21-25°C (70-77°F) is ideal). |
What to do next | When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays and grow on in cooler conditions. |
After all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Then transplant into final flowering position planting them 25cm (10in) apart. | |
