2019 is this your year for growing your own food? Brexit, veganism and mindfulness. Just three examples of reasons to grow your own food that I’ve read about so far this year. There’s actually a better reason, so if you need a reason to give it a go and make 2019 the year that you try growing your own food, then let it be that it is immensely enjoyable! Fruits of our labour

June has arrived already and after a very dry May we are already watering everything in our West Yorkshire garden and have watched some amazing growth spurts during the last 6 weeks or so. This can provide challenges in the kitchen, as courgettes only keep fresh in the fridge for a few days, meaning that we have to be inventive and find new...

Out of May and into June

As we approach the end of May and move into June, we are reflecting back on a very busy month and looking forward to a fruitful June. For Seeds to Sow, May has been exceptionally busy, a key time for seed sowing, market days, garden shows and for finding inspiration whilst looking after a garden during a very dry (and at times very hot!) month of May. We’ve hosted a few market days and hopefully inspired some people to give a few of our seed varieties a try. Find out more on our facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/seedstosowltd . We’ve lent a helping...
